I meet with your student on a regular basis and use their current class work as the core of our curriculum.  I recommend extra practice and review past topics when needed.  I help students prepare for tests and ensure true learning is happening in every situation.

I am effective at what I do because I don't do it alone.  I require full participation from students and have high expectations of their efforts.  I take on more the role of a coach than a teacher.  I could not do what I do without a student willing to practice outside of our tutoring time. 

In most cases I meet students at a local library in which a parent need not be present.  In some cases I tutor in your home.  I require a well-lit study area free from distractions such as televisions, telephones, etc.  I require a parent or legal guardian to be in the home for all tutoring sessions.

I generally meet students weekday afternoons and evenings.  In most cases we meet once or twice weekly. My schedule is flexible and based on student needs.
